Unscrew & remove
Loosen the M10 nut, pull the stock indicator clean off.
Unplug stock
Disconnect the OEM indicator connector placed inside the slot. Safely remove the harness and keep it for later use.
Mount any indicator
Fit your aftermarket indicator to the adaptor. The MotoNyx harness plugs into the rear only. For the front, reuse the old indicator connector — the supplied wire length is sufficient.

Will it really fit my Triumph 400?+
Yes — designed specifically for the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X factory indicator mount.
What indicators can I use with it?+
Any aftermarket indicator with the standard thread. That's 99% of the market.
Is wiring affected?+
The adapter is purely mechanical. The MotoNyx wiring harness connector fits the rear indicators only (plug and play). The front connector is different: reuse the connector from your old front indicator. The supplied wire length is sufficient for front installation.
My harness is not working. What should I do?+
First, make sure the polarity is reversed. Connect the red wire of the harness to the black wire of the indicator, and the black wire of the harness to the red wire of the indicator. If that doesn't work, switch the polarity and connect red to red and black to black.
Will it void my warranty?+
The adapter is a bolt-on mechanical part. With the MotoNyx harness, the rear connector is plug and play; the front uses a different connector, so reuse the connector from your old front indicator with the sufficient supplied wire length. Keep the motorcycle's original wiring loom intact and check warranty terms with your dealer.

The indicator nut is too big to fit. What should I do?+
If the supplied indicator nut is too big to fit properly, you can use a smaller M10 nut instead. We recommend using a hex nut or flange nut with an outer diameter of approximately 1.8 cm (18 mm) or less to ensure proper fitting. Please check the available clearance before installation and ensure the nut is securely tightened.
The indicator’s threaded stem is too long and doesn’t fit properly. What should I do?+
If the threaded stem is too long and prevents proper fitting, you may need to carefully shorten it by cutting the excess threaded portion. The final threaded stem length should be approximately 1.6 cm (16 mm) for proper fitting. We recommend getting this done by a local mechanic to ensure a clean cut and proper installation. Please ensure sufficient thread remains for secure fastening.
