Installation Guide — MotoNyx Universal Indicator Adaptor

Follow these 7 simple steps to install your MotoNyx adaptor in under 10 minutes.

Fits Triumph Speed 400, Speed T4, Scrambler 400 X / XC, Thruxton 400 and Tracker 400.

Step 1: Remove Stock Indicator

Unscrew and remove the stock (factory) indicator from your bike.

Keep the OEM nut and washer safely — the swap is fully reversible.

Step 2: Cut the Stock Wire

Cut the wire of the stock indicator connector as shown.

Step 3: Remove Stock Connector

Pull out the stock connector. Note the rubber seal on it — remove it carefully.

Step 4: Mark the Terminals

Identify and mark the positive (+) and negative (−) wires before connecting. Positive (+): Gray wire · Negative (−): Yellow/Black stripe wire.

Double-check polarity before you connect — a reversed indicator simply won't light up.

Step 5: Mount Indicator on Adaptor

Take any aftermarket indicator, loosen the M10 nut, and fix it into the adaptor as shown.

Step 6: Connect the Wires

Connect the connectors as shown. Two connection types are possible — use whichever is easier for you.

Step 7: Fix Adaptor to Indicator Slot

Fix the indicator + adaptor assembly into the bike's indicator slot. Done!
